In Spring Hill, a tragic incident unfolded when two vehicles almost collided head-on, resulting in one fatality and leaving two others injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on Northcliffe Blvd., involving a 19-year-old man driving a Nissan Altima heading westbound and a 61-year-old woman driving a Chevy Malibu heading eastbound. The Altima, for reasons still under investigation, drifted across the roadway and struck the Malibu.
As a consequence of the crash, all involved were transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the 35-year-old passenger in the Malibu succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, while both drivers suffered serious injuries.
