A tragic incident occurred in Holiday, Florida, early Monday morning, when a house fire led to the deaths of a man and a dog, as confirmed by the Pasco County Fire Rescue (PCFR).
According to the PCFR, the fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Bowen Street. Firefighters were alerted to the presence of one person and several animals inside the burning residence. Upon arriving, they worked swiftly to contain the blaze, which they successfully restricted to the front bedroom.
Inside the bedroom, firefighters discovered the 60-year-old man, whose life was claimed by the fire. Additionally, they removed two dogs from the premises; unfortunately, only one survived the ordeal.
