Arrest and Seizure
The arrest occurred along the 800 block of Ridge Road. According to law enforcement officials, a federal arrest warrant had been issued for Shields in connection with a manslaughter indictment. During a search conducted with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), authorities discovered 339.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 5.3 grams of suspected cocaine.
New Charges and Criminal History
As a result of the seizure, Shields faces several new state-level charges.
