Efforts to alleviate congestion on one of the United States’ busiest highways are gaining momentum. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is expediting plans to expand Interstate 4 (I-4), particularly in the area stretching from U.S. 27 in Polk County to east of World Center Drive in Orange County.
