Fort Lauderdale Arrest Man Charged with Murder After Body Found

A Fort Lauderdale man faces serious charges after the body of a missing individual was discovered inside a local business earlier this week.

The Fort Lauderdale police have charged Nenad Milosevic, aged 56, with second-degree murder following the discovery of 73-year-old Anthony D’Amore’s body. The arrest took place after authorities were called to conduct a wellness check on D’Amore, who had been missing since Friday.

Upon investigation, law enforcement officials located D’Amore’s body within a business at 6245 N. Federal Highway. Surveillance footage revealed that D’Amore had entered the establishment with an individual later identified as Milosevic around 10 p.m. on Friday. Notably, approximately two and a half hours later, Milosevic was seen leaving the premises carrying several bags, without D’Amore accompanying him.

The police acted swiftly upon identifying Milosevic, resulting in his arrest on Thursday. During interrogation, Milosevic confessed to the murder of D’Amore, leading to the formal charges against him.
