According to the police report, officers responded to a distress call at the business located at 955 E. Eighth Ave. at approximately 7:50 p.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement personnel interviewed a store employee who stated that a male subject entered the premises brandishing a knife.
Detectives described the suspect as a Black male with a slim build. Witnesses noted that the individual was wearing a ski mask, gloves, and a construction vest during the incident. The suspect reportedly demanded cellphones and currency from the store’s safe.
