In a troubling event at the Clarion Inn & Suites Miami International Airport, law enforcement authorities detained a man for inappropriate behavior in a hotel stairwell, discovered by a minor.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning when a young boy entered a stairwell at the hotel and saw a man identified as 32-year-old Adrian Prieto in a compromising position. According to the arrest report, Prieto was seen with his shorts down, engaging in inappropriate conduct.
The minor reportedly instructed Prieto to stop, but instead of complying immediately, Prieto retreated to his hotel room only after the boy mentioned he would call the police.
Authorities acted promptly following the report. Prieto was found in his room and arrested. At the time of his arrest, officers noted that Prieto’s shorts were unzipped and adult content was playing on his television.
Consequently, Prieto is facing a felony charge for lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of a child under 16, alongside a misdemeanor charge for indecent exposure. Court records have since shown that Prieto secured his release on a $6,000 bond.
This incident highlights serious concerns about public safety and the need for vigilant supervision in community spaces. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
