Multi-Agency Probe Underway
The meeting included top officials such as the Union Home Secretary, the directors of the Intelligence Bureau and the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and the Delhi Police Commissioner. According to sources, Shah instructed the NIA, IB, and Delhi Police Special Cell to coordinate their efforts closely, vowing that “no stone will be left unturned.” A team of more than 500 security personnel has been assembled to lead the investigation.
Investigators are currently analyzing over 1,000 CCTV footage clips and collecting mobile phone “dump data” from the area surrounding the blast site. Sources within the Delhi Police indicated that the explosion, which involved a Haryana-registered Hyundai i20, is being investigated as a potential suicide attack intended to cause maximum casualties.

In response to the attack, high alerts have been issued in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai. Security has been significantly increased across the Delhi-NCR region, with National Security Guard (NSG) commandos deployed to key installations and enhanced vigilance at crowded public places and religious sites.
Speaking from Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the incident, stating he was in constant contact with investigating agencies. “The conspirators behind this will not be spared,” Modi said. “All those responsible will be brought to justice.” The incident also drew political commentary, with the BJP’s Amit Malviya criticizing opposition parties for what he described as attempts to politicize the attack.
