A 33-year-old man from Laurens has been identified as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday evening in Gray Court, according to the Laurens County Coroner’s Office.
Laurens County Coroner Patti Canupp identified the deceased as Spencer Edge. The incident took place shortly before 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of Lincoln Road and Ora Road.
Chief Deputy Coroner Ashley Rushton, who responded to the scene, reported that the crash involved a vehicle striking a tree. Edge was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, Canupp stated.
