MANOR, Texas – Law enforcement officials in Manor have lifted a shelter-in-place order following a coordinated manhunt for robbery suspects who crashed a vehicle and fled on foot early Tuesday. The Manor Police Department, in conjunction with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Austin Police Department, and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the incident in the 300 block of E. Parsons Street.

According to a press release issued by the Manor Police Department, the suspects’ vehicle was involved in a collision and was subsequently identified as being connected to a prior criminal offense. Following the crash, the occupants fled the scene, prompting a significant police response to secure the perimeter and search for the individuals.

Authorities rescinded the shelter-in-place order at 6:30 a.m., determining that the immediate necessity for residents to lock their doors and windows had passed. However, police indicated that one suspect remains outstanding. The individual was last reported to be wearing all-black clothing. Travis County Emergency Services District No. 12 remained at the location to assist with clearing the traffic accident, and officials have urged the public to provide crews with adequate space to operate.

Public Safety Advisory

While the lifting of the shelter-in-place order suggests the immediate danger to the specific neighborhood has diminished, the search for the outstanding suspect continues. Residents are advised to maintain situational awareness and report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement. The continued presence of multiple agencies underscores the active nature of the investigation. It is important to note that all individuals discussed in connection with this incident are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
