Authorities in Anne Arundel County arrested a 25-year-old man on Friday following a targeted search operation that yielded significant quantities of narcotics, including more than four pounds of suspected marijuana and traces of fentanyl, according to police reports.

Dominick Lee Lattimore, of Glen Burnie, was taken into custody after detectives from the Northern District Strategic Patrol Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of Wallace Road in Crownsville. The operation was the culmination of an investigation into the alleged distribution of crack cocaine in the Glen Burnie area, which allowed detectives to develop probable cause to search the Crownsville location.

During the execution of the warrant, investigators recovered approximately 2,136 grams of suspected marijuana, 4.50 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and 1.74 grams of suspected fentanyl. In addition to the contraband, police seized $690 in U.S. currency, a digital scale, and two cellular phones. Police confirmed that Lattimore was inside the residence at the time of the search and was subsequently charged in connection with the findings.

It is important to note that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Investigative Outlook

The seizure of fentanyl, even in smaller quantities alongside bulk marijuana and distribution paraphernalia, underscores the ongoing challenge law enforcement faces regarding poly-drug distribution networks. The involvement of the Strategic Patrol Team indicates a focused effort to disrupt supply chains bridging Glen Burnie and Crownsville. With the investigation remaining active, the analysis of the seized digital devices may provide authorities with further leads regarding upstream suppliers or local associates.
