Prosecutors allege that on the evening of November 24, Hadley was involved in a targeted incident where a white Nissan Sentra and a grey Kia followed a black Honda Pilot carrying four occupants. Authorities stated that as the Honda approached the intersection of Sleigh Street and School Street, the Nissan blocked the vehicle from the front while the Kia obstructed it from the rear to prevent escape.
According to police reports, a suspect—later identified as Hadley—exited the Nissan wearing a hoodie and face mask while brandishing a firearm. Investigators reported that Hadley attempted to open the driver’s side door before moving to a rear window, where he ordered a passenger to surrender their cell phone. The passenger complied, and the suspect allegedly threw the device to the ground before fleeing the scene in the Nissan.
Law enforcement officials noted that the occupants of the Honda had reportedly encountered Hadley approximately two to three hours prior to the alleged robbery. Hadley was subsequently taken into custody by Naperville police on February 11 during a traffic stop.
