An elderly man, Estifene Lebrun, who was reported missing from Lauderdale Lakes, has been found safe, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
On December 29, a missing persons alert was issued for 70-year-old Estifene Lebrun. He was last seen around 10 a.m. near the 3600 block of Northwest 40th Street in Lauderdale Lakes. Lebrun is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds. Notably, he is bald and has brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, Lebrun was wearing a red, yellow, and white hooded sweatshirt along with black pants. According to his family, he suffers from dementia, a condition which might have contributed to his disappearance.
Fortunately, detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit were able to locate Lebrun safely in the nearby area of Oakland Park. The authorities have reported that he is now being reunited with his family, bringing relief to those concerned about his welfare.
