Authorities have established a total of 10 check-posts at key entry and exit points to monitor traffic. Deployed personnel from the armed police, civil police, and traffic divisions are conducting inspections of vehicles and verifying the identity of individuals entering Mysuru.
Security has also been tightened at high-traffic public locations, including the Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hill Temple, and the Exhibition Grounds. Officials have installed additional door frame metal detectors and separate frisking points for men and women to enhance safety at these sites.
Furthermore, frequent Anti-Sabotage checks are being conducted at bus stands, railway stations, shopping complexes, and malls to detect any suspicious activities. All hotels, lodges, and homestays are also being inspected, with police verifying the details and purpose of visit for all new occupants.
