ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – U.S. Marshals have arrested a Pennsylvania man who was wanted for escaping a work-release program. The apprehension occurred on the casino floor of Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, nearly two months after the man absconded.

The individual, identified as 30-year-old Jeremy Ott, walked away from his work-release site in Warrington, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Following his departure, the Bucks County District Attorney’s office issued a warrant for his arrest on an escape charge on September 30.

An investigation conducted by the U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia and the NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force led authorities to the resort in Atlantic City. Investigators located and arrested Ott without incident inside the casino.

The arrest concludes a nearly two-month search for the fugitive. It is important to note that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
