HENRIETTA, N.Y. – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist killed in a collision on Jefferson Road on Saturday evening as 18-year-old Joseph Cantie of Rochester.
According to Deputy David Marcucci of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal incident occurred around 5 p.m. near the southbound on-ramp for Interstate 390. First responders arrived at the scene to find that the collision involved a motorcycle and a second vehicle.
Officials stated that the driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and was briefly hospitalized. Following a preliminary review of the scene, deputies issued a ticket to the driver of the passenger vehicle for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
