Authorities have identified Kevonte Irons, a 25-year-old, as the suspect in the shooting that resulted in the death of a driver on Sheridan Street. The incident, which occurred in the early morning hours of October 26, 2024, involved a Nissan Altima, whose driver was fatally shot during a suspected reckless driving altercation.
Responding officers discovered the victim’s vehicle crashed on the roadway, with the driver sustaining life-threatening injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the victim succumbed to their injuries, further intensifying the urgency of the police investigation. Due to Marsy’s Law, the identity of the deceased has been withheld from the public.
