SHREVEPORT, La. – The Shreveport Police Department has initiated a search for a person of interest following a domestic disturbance that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old woman early Saturday morning.

Law enforcement officials responded to a call in the 200 block of West 69th Street shortly after midnight on December 13, 2025. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim unconscious and unresponsive in a bedroom. According to initial police reports, the victim sustained injuries during a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, identified by authorities as Evantavious Deon Williams.

Emergency personnel transported the victim to Ochsner LSU Health for treatment of critical injuries, but she was pronounced dead a short time later. The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has not yet publicly identified the victim or released the specific cause of death.

Investigators interviewed a witness detained at the scene who confirmed observing both the victim and Williams prior to the altercation. The witness stated to police that Williams fled the location immediately after family members contacted 911.

Detectives are actively searching for Williams, who is considered a person of interest in the fatal incident. Police records indicate that Williams has an outstanding warrant in Caddo Parish and an active entry in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) originating from Texas.
