Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim unconscious and unresponsive in a bedroom. Emergency personnel transported the victim to Ochsner LSU Health for treatment of critical injuries, but she was pronounced dead a short time later. The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has not yet publicly identified the victim or released the specific cause of death.
