St. Thomas Aquinas’ Andrew Indorf Broward’s Top Offensive Player

Andrew Indorf, a senior quarterback from St. Thomas Aquinas, has been named Broward County’s 7A-5A football offensive player of the year, a recognition that highlights his remarkable performances and leadership on the field throughout the season.

During the regional finals, Indorf displayed resilience and skill, rallying the Raiders from a two-touchdown deficit to secure a thrilling 49-42 victory against Atlantic in double overtime. His efforts continued to shine as he contributed to a narrow 16-13 win over Bradenton Manatee the following week.

Indorf consistently demonstrates confidence, saying, ‘I always believe in myself, and I always believe that I am the best.’ This self-assuredness was evident as he scored one rushing touchdown and passed for another, leading his team to a dominant 34-0 triumph in the Class 5A state title game against Lakeland.

At 160 of 244 for 2,273 yards with 28 touchdowns and only three interceptions in his junior year, Indorf built a solid foundation for his senior season. In 2024, he improved to 226 of 328 for 2,868 yards, 31 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Additionally, his ability to run the ball resulted in 452 yards and 11 touchdowns over his high school career.

Under Indorf’s leadership, the Raiders maintained an impressive record, clinching a state-record six consecutive championships and a 30-game playoff winning streak. Indorf’s contributions have been vital, breaking records previously held by Zion Turner and equaling Jake Rudock’s career passing touchdown mark of 66.

Facing significant pressure throughout the season, Indorf embraced the challenge, often citing his coach’s mantra that adversity motivates. This mindset has helped him and his team flourish under pressure, reinforcing their dominance on the field.

Andrew Indorf leaves a lasting legacy at St. Thomas Aquinas with a host of records and accolades. His performance, leadership, and determination on the field have made an indelible mark, setting a high bar for future athletes. As he departs with four state championship rings, Indorf’s career stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to success.
