Jamila Wideman comes to the Mystics with a strong background, having served six years at the NBA league office where she was the senior vice president of player development. Her experience is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the team. Wideman was also part of the inaugural WNBA draft class, selected as the third pick by the Los Angeles Sparks. Her career with the Sparks, along with her time at the Portland Fire and Cleveland Rockers, has given her deep insights into the WNBA’s workings.
