Ten Injured in Queens Nightclub Shooting

In a shocking turn of events, ten individuals were injured in a shooting incident outside a nightclub in New York City, according to police reports.

A group of about 15 young people, aged between 16 and 20, were standing outside Amazura nightclub in Jamaica, Queens, on Wednesday night around 11:15 p.m. As they waited to enter a private event, four men approached them on foot. Without warning, three or four of these men opened fire, as described by NYPD Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera. Approximately 30 shots were discharged in the chaotic scene before the assailants fled.

The gunmen were later seen leaving in a sedan with out-of-state license plates. Authorities confirmed the absence of a terrorism motive but emphasized a zero-tolerance stance on gun violence. Chief Rivera stated passionately, “There is zero tolerance for these senseless shootings.”

In the aftermath, six women and four men sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals. The significant police presence and multiple ambulances were captured and shared widely on social media, highlighting the scale of the response and the gravity of the situation.

Despite the swift response, the motive behind the shooting remains unknown, leaving the community anxious and in search of answers. The police continue to investigate, seeking any information that may shed light on the incident or lead to the apprehension of those responsible.
