FORT GRATIOT, Mich. – Two individuals from Fort Gratiot face multiple felony charges after the St. Clair County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant earlier this month, seizing methamphetamine and several firearms. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office reported that the raid took place on November 12 at a residence on the 4700 block of Meadowlawn Drive.
During the search, investigators located and seized approximately seven grams of methamphetamine, materials used for drug packaging, and a cache of weapons. The firearms included a .22 caliber rifle, a .300 blackout rifle, an AR-15, a 16-gauge shotgun, and a 9mm pistol, along with ammunition.
Authorities identified the suspects as Christopher Diem, 37, and Harmony Casper, 39. Both were arraigned on November 14 in the 72nd District Court. They each face charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house, and felony firearm possession.
According to the sheriff’s report, bond for both Diem and Casper was set at $10,000 cash or surety. The St. Clair County Drug Task Force’s investigation into the matter remains ongoing. It is important to note that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
