Investigation and Arrests
The investigation, led by the Maryland State Police Child Recovery Unit, began in September 2025 after authorities identified an online advertisement for sexual acts involving a young female. Investigators located and rescued the first juvenile from a hotel in Towson, Maryland, who was identified as a critically missing person.
On November 4, 2025, authorities located and arrested Deion Philip at a residence in Hanover, Pennsylvania. During the arrest, a second missing female juvenile was discovered and recovered. Two days later, on November 6, investigators tracked Antoine Miles to an airport in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he was taken into custody.
Legal Proceedings and Public Appeal
Both Philip and Miles have been charged with sex trafficking of a minor and other related offenses. Philip is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond, while Miles is awaiting extradition from Minnesota to Maryland.
