The incident occurred on Sunday morning, just before 10:00 a.m., when the crew of the Boeing 737-800 identified a potential electric issue while en route to Las Vegas. This prompted immediate action to ensure the safety of all passengers onboard. Consequently, the aircraft returned to Chicago O’Hare International Airport for an inspection.
According to a spokesperson from American Airlines, an indicator light suggested a possible mechanical issue.
