Tragedy struck in a Phoenix suburb when a shooting at a local restaurant resulted in three fatalities and five injuries. The incident occurred on Sunday night at El Camaron Gigante Mariscos & Steakhouse, located in Glendale, Arizona. Authorities were alerted to the situation around 7:45 p.m. as reports of gunfire flooded in.

Officer Moroni Mendez of the Glendale Police Department provided details during a briefing, confirming the deaths and injuries caused by gunshots or shrapnel. A large crowd had gathered for an event at the restaurant, intensifying the impact of the shooting.

Police have indicated that multiple shooters might have been involved, although no suspects are currently in custody. Several individuals are being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.

Witnesses at the scene described the chaos and fear that ensued. Lupe Rodriguez, a bystander, recounted running to safety amidst the gunfire. He expressed relief that he and his friends survived, though he witnessed a man on the ground whose father was calling out his name in distress.

The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation and to ensure justice for the victims. The community remains on edge as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
