Volusia and Flagler Counties 2024-25 School Breaks Detailed

As the holiday season approaches, students and parents in Volusia and Flagler counties can look forward to a series of scheduled breaks in the 2024-25 academic year.

The Thanksgiving break for students in both Volusia and Flagler counties is set from November 25 to November 29, with classes resuming on December 2. This provides families an extended period to celebrate the holiday together.

The school year also includes Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents’ Day as holidays, with a teacher workday on March 14. Spring break will similarly take place from March 17-21. Students will finish their school year on May 29, while teachers will conclude on May 30.

Both counties have synchronized their major school holidays, allowing for consistent planning and expectations for families residing in these regions.
