The fall front that crossed South Florida on Friday has brought about significantly cooler weather, with Fort Lauderdale experiencing its lowest morning temperatures since late March and Miami since mid-April. However, by Sunday morning, an onshore breeze caused temperatures to rise, resulting in lows in the mid-70s. This breeze is also expected to bring more clouds throughout the day, keeping temperatures in the low 80s.
As the week progresses, temperatures are anticipated to increase slightly, reaching the mid-80s on Tuesday and Wednesday. The nights will remain warmer than average, with lows hovering in the mid-70s. The early part of the week will likely be dry, with intervals of sun and clouds.
A significant weather change is expected on Wednesday as a new cold front approaches, bringing showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon and overnight. This weather shift is partly attributed to the remnants of Tropical Storm Sara. This front is expected to be the only major rain event in the coming week.
