A Miami-Dade woman appeared in court following allegations that she shot four individuals on Christmas Day, amid a series of violent events in the region.
Police reports indicate that the alleged incident occurred at a residence located near 138th Court and Eureka Dr. in Southwest Miami-Dade. The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Dacia Tisdale, reportedly engaged in a verbal altercation with a group before opening fire.
Witnesses state that Tisdale initially shot three victims, then left the scene only to return shortly after, where she allegedly fired again, hitting another individual. This second round of shots reportedly brought the total number of victims to four.
Authorities noted that all four individuals were transported to a nearby hospital. Despite the severity of their injuries, they are currently in critical but stable condition, according to Miami-Dade Police.
Following her arrest, Tisdale was charged with four counts of attempted premeditated murder. The judicial process began with her recent bond court appearance, where decisions regarding her custody and future court dates will be made.
The Christmas Day shooting in Miami-Dade underscores the ongoing concerns about gun violence in the community. As the legal proceedings against Dacia Tisdale continue, the focus remains on the recovery of the victims and the investigation into the incident’s circumstances.
