According to an anonymous Hezbollah official, the attack resulted in the death of Mohammed Afif, the head of media relations for Hezbollah. This event aligns with a series of targeted operations against senior Hezbollah figures, further flaming the conflict between Israel and the militant group.
The strike followed an earlier assault in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli forces killed at least 12 individuals, including women and children, in a series of airstrikes. Over the past year, Israel has been engaged in a prolonged conflict with Palestinian Hamas, further complicated by Hezbollah’s involvement.
