The competition took place over 18 holes, divided into three sessions of six holes: four-ball, foursomes, and singles.
Through a robust start, McIlroy and Scheffler, ranked as the world’s No. 1 and No. 3 respectively, decisively claimed the four-ball session 3&2 within just four holes.
