New Culinary Delights Arriving Soon in South Florida

In West Palm Beach, the steak enthusiasts will soon welcome the arrival of the Steak Shop by Rancher’s Reserve. Slated to open late December, this boutique butcher shop emphasizes locally sourced meats, including hormone- and antibiotic-free Akaushi cows and Berkshire pigs from a ranch in Okeechobee. The shop will offer wood-fired burgers, chicken wings, and Wagyu bratwurst among other meat-centric dishes.

Meanwhile, Mary Lou’s, a chic lounge in West Palm Beach, is set to transform a former country store into a sophisticated venue. It promises live entertainment and a selection of light fare, craft cocktails, and fine wines. Fort Lauderdale’s landmark, Pier Sixty-Six, will see the opening of several new dining venues following a $1 billion renovation. Parlor Doughnuts is introducing its layered doughnuts to Fort Lauderdale this winter, catering to diverse dietary preferences with options including keto and gluten-free varieties. Located in Flagler Village, this new addition marks the chain’s first venture into Broward County.

South Florida’s BBQ scene is set for a boost with the opening of Mistah Lee’s Smokin’ Good BBQ in Boynton Beach. Known for its award-winning smoked meats, this establishment will offer a range of savory options such as pastrami and brisket, along with classic Southern sides.

Delray Beach will be home to Gesto, a sourdough pizzeria taking over the space vacated by the Amar Mediterranean Bistro. Expected early 2025, the pizzeria will focus on using high-quality ingredients to craft its limited menu of signature pies.

A taste of Argentina awaits at Novecento in Delray Beach, as the restaurant prepares to open in a space steeped in local history. With its Argentine-inspired cuisine and occasional tango shows, it promises a unique cultural dining experience.

Finally, Carolina Ale House is set to replace the former Bru’s Room in Deerfield Beach, bringing its sports-themed dining to the area before year’s end. Patrons can look forward to a menu filled with familiar American pub classics.
