The enchanting “Luminosa: Festival of Lights” is making its grand return to Jungle Island, Miami, promising an immersive experience with more than 40 captivating silk lantern displays that stretch across a mile-long pathway.
Now in its third year, this event transforms the nighttime landscape into a breathtaking spectacle inspired by fairytale motifs and the cute, creative culture of kawaii. Visitors can expect a brand-new Holiday Village and marketplace running from November 14, 2024, to January 5, 2025. This first-time addition features not only an array of food stalls offering festive treats like elephant ears and mulled wine but also a vibrant bazaar with handcrafted gifts and seasonal crafts. At the heart of the village, a stunning 30-foot Christmas tree, adorned with glittering decorations, stands as a centerpiece.
Situated at Jungle Island, located at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail in Miami, the festival is easily accessible by several bus routes, including lines C, K, and M. Jungle Island’s setup allows guests to wander through a variety of themed sections, each offering a unique slice of global culture through the medium of light and art.
